Where is the best place to buy rc cars online? I looked at Tower Hobbies and some of the other big ones...

Anyone have any advice?

Hey...

I've been down this road before. I haven't had much luck. TowerHobbies seems to be the most together. If I'm not able to find something there, I look at:

hobbypeople.net - I hate their website and have yet to order, but they have lots
www.stormerhobbies.com (http://www.stormerhobbies.com) - I ordered by phone because their SSL was broken, easy to order, knowledgeable, haven't recieved yet, but I just ordered today.

Take advantage of the low Canadian Dollar and buy from East Coast Model Centre. www.ecmc.com (http://www.ecmc.com)

They dont have very good descriptions so if you have the part # or specific name its good but not if youre looking

I've ordered online from both Tower and Stormer. Tower seem to be more efficient, they send you a confirmation mail when your order has shipped, and their shipping method is cheaper and quicker than Stormer. However, they seem to have fallen from grace with Losi/Horizon (or vice versa), as you can only buy Losi stuff from them that is still in stock. As they run out of stock the items become "discontinued". (I have a XXX buggy). Stormer seem to take a week to 10 days to even process your order (that is, one placed through their web site), and their shipping method takes longer - I ordered some stuff on March 2, it arrived in Sydney on the 28th.
Tower by comparison I ordered on the 2nd, arrived on the 12th. Stormer don't send you anything to say that your order has shipped but they do reply if you email and ask what's going on.
So either are fine with me, I will still order from Stormer, and Tower if they have the bits I need in their ever-diminishing stock of Losi parts.
