i got it when it first was released and i really like it. I have race it and i noticed it is VERY capable of easily beating out tc3's and pro2's. THe belt system is extremely efficient and batteries and motors seem to like that! :D

From what ive seen, its very efficient and very quiet. That was in Stock, Ive never seen it run Mod. But the steering is what I noticed the most, its smooth as silk.

actually Canuck, you can make it EVEN MORE smoother by putting some bearings in it, thats what i plan to do! ;)
The kit was great/easy to build; the car is designed for easy maintanence, and it really is the best car I've owned in that regard; I setup the car just as the manual suggested and smoked'em all in my class. In fact, I'm moving up to pro stock because of this car. I think these points says it all. :D

Last weekend at my local track, they had a XXXS, Pro 3, X-Ray, and a TC3 duking it out in the A-main in both stock and modified classes. The XXX-S was very impressive, winning both qualifiers, with the Pro 3 in second. In the other qual, It was the X-Ray, with the TC3 in second. I finished 4th in my qual. In the A-main, The TC3 and XXX-S left the Pro 3 and X-Ray (mainly by driving). I'd say the TC3's and XXX-S's drivers were pretty well matched. The TC3 ended up on top, mainly because the XXX-S was caught in traffic for a little bit. Some of the Fastest cars on the track were the Schumachers and new Yokomos, but they just could get hooked up. But, in my opinion, the XXX-S is an awesome car, even though I'm an Associated guy.

did any of you experience any early problems with it? like in the case of the tc3 and pro3, when they were released, there were cases of broken suspension arms.

so i guess there's no need for a wide front bumper :D one more thing, should i hold out and wait for a factory team version, if any, or is the current kit good enough? i saw the graphite upgrade kit and im sure it will be cheaper if there's a team version with all the include hopups than upgrade the regular kit. i dont want to happen to me again when i got a team tc3 and add hopups, then a couple of months later, the factory team came up. thanks for any advice! :)

I love my xxx-s it is absolutally the best tc i have had it took running into a pole to break an a-arm but that is all that broke pretty impressive if you ask me dont wait for a team version because you might be waiting fore a while buy it now and get 4 8mm x 5mm bearings for the bellcranks when you get the kit and upgrade as you can afford it
