View Full Version : I ACCIDENTLY SPRAYED MOTOR SPRAY ON MY DEANS CONNECTORS!!!HELP!
Did i do wrong by spraying motor spray on and in my DEANS CONNECTORS? THe motor spray was TEAM ORION. Will it affect performance? I havent noticed anything but im just wondering.
No it wont mess it up. All motor spray is plastic safe, because it has to touch the endbell. It wont do anything, and if its not plastic safe (which I doubt) all it will do is make the plastic stick to each other. Just to be safe though, wipe it off, and keep them separated overnight.

Ummm, about the plastic safe thing.
Motor spray does affect many plastics.
If it hits those Acer and Duratrax, Power pole connectors they will crumble. It also discolors Lexan.
But Deans are more like a vinyl (I not sure so don't freak on me if they aren't), and therefore they aren't affected.
