Whats different about it from a regular sideXside pack?

I think it stands for left turn only pack. It probably means that the pack is used to shift the weight to one side only and not both sides like a sideXside pack would. Just my guess im not an oval racer so anyone that is please correct me if i am wrong. :D

A lot of the time they are split packs, usually 4 cells on the left (from behind) and 2 on the right to put the majority of the weight on the inside but not too much. They call them LTO packs because the two piece design makes them VERY hard to use in any other type of racing.

At least that is what an LTO pack used to be :)

I race Oval, and have never heard of an LTO pack. In 6cell, all 6cells are on the left in the same config. as a side by side pack that would be used in a TC3 or XXX. Same with 4cell, but with 4cells instead of 6.
