Go to NERCAR, Enfield,Ct. Watch the Big Boys. 1/8th on-road are clock at 75mph, With the restriction of the rules. Like to see 10 cars on the track at the same time?? Go and experience it. Go and watch. www.nercar.com

goto www.raywoodrcvideos.com and order the 2003 ifmar 8th scale worlds dvd, they ran down at hamilton OH, and at the end of the back straight ( which is 300 ft. long.) they were clocked at 76 MPH. How's that for fast?

This is my first year of 1/8 scale on road. These cars will make you have a adrenaline rush when you drive them!! I raced at 301 in Maryland with my S960. Even though I got my butt kicked, but I was fired up for two weeks!! I've never driven so fast!! If given the chance, go to a 8th scale race!!

I find a 1/8th onroad car to be much more easier to drive than my hopped up GT4-R I had a while ago with foam tires and front one way/rear diff/solid rear axle setup. 1/8th onroads just have so much grip, stability, and so much more punch.

1/8th is easier to drive , mainly as you say due to the massive amount of grip available , but they are harder to drive at the limit and race them competitively.
If you can hold a line with a 1/10 , you can drive 1/8th easily around a track , how competitive you are though , is another matter. ;)
