It depends what you're doing with it, so there is no "clear choice", it's just preferance. If you want an on road car, go with the Pro 3, if you want a truck you can drive off road, get that. Look if your Local hobby shop carries parts for the car you want, too.

Is there anyone else in you area running either of those? If so, get what the people around you are running. I'll tell you one thing, It is now fun driving by yourself.

its so hard for us to give you advise if we dont know what you like. I live on a gravel road, with a large gravel pit within walking distance, a yard, and starting on my own backyard off road track, so would i get an on-road car? not so much. If it were me, i would be all over that xxx-t, but that is because i enjoy and have more chances to run a truck like that than i would if i lived in town. If i lived in the concrete jungle, than the hpi would suit me better. It depends on what you want to do with your car/truck. You need to ask yourself that, before anything. A drift car would do nothing but sit ilde most of the time for me, so if i could buy one cheap, it wouldnt really do me much good. However, if i could spend $40 more, get something that fit my driving area/needs/likes more, than it would make much more sense to buy the car/truck for $40 more, because i would enjoy using it.

glad to hear it!!! Usually, each company has on their site " find a dealer" or something along that line. simply type in your zip, and it will locate the closest one to you, you might be surprised who is around you, and who carries what you need.
I live in the middle of nowhere, the deer out-number the rednecks! :p however, i found 2 shops within 30 minutes of me! :D
HPI builds good stuff, i am sure you will enjoy the car, and you can dang near make any car drift, within reason, just some do it better than others, but hey, that just shows you got the skills if you do it with a car not made for it :p
good luck!
