whats a lazer?

My brother just got into the hobby, and bought someone out at a great savings. one of the 3 cars he got though is in pieces, the guy said its a "Lazer", it appears to be a 4wd off road buggy, but what brand?

They made several versions of the Lazer.
Lazer 2000
Lazer Alpha
Lazer ZX
Lazer ZX-R
and I think a ZX-S

We used to race the ZX-R Lazers back in 92-94. They were good in their day, but couldn't run against a XX-4 today though! One of my racing buddy's made a 4WD TC out of one a few years ago.
