Tamiya DMD tank unit

JAnderson from Tamiya said that the DMD unit for the 1/16 tanks would only accept two 380 motors. Is there any other brand of 380 motor besides Mabuchi?

How about the Kyosho ap29bb le-mans motor.Its 380 size with 27T. Will that work?

I think they work fine. They just should have made them so they could accept normal stock motors. It will only do 2 mph. And why hasnt anybody answered my question?

you could always try electric airplane motors. They make all sizes of them. The smallest I know the smallest is a 280 and can get as big as 900 or bigger. A couple of companies make 'em so you should be able to find a better 380.
