Will all ESC's fit a mini? Should that be one of the first upgrades in a mini-t??

Out of these three ESC's which one would be the best for the money??

None of those will work with the Mini T. You have to have a "mini" esc such as LRP's Quantumn mini. This is because regular escs are made to run with 540 size motors and the mini T uses a 370 size motor. Also that second link is not an esc it's a reciever.

Erik, Tell me why this spd controller wont work for a 370 motor?? Not real sure why your saying that Its the same type of motor just a little smaller so its diffentantly not going to overload the controller,I would think if he put in a different receiver it would work fine but you will also need a different servo I had a Novak cyclone tc in my Mini t conversion and it worked flawless with the 370 motor on 6 cells . well maybe they will work with a regular esc I haven't personally have to much experience with mini's. If you have tried it yourself and you say they work then I guess they do. to keep things simplier I would use a mini designed esc. I also forgot that you will need another reciever if you tend to replace the esc because the esc and reciever are built into one. and after that the servo is pretty much needed I would say. I don't know what escs are good or anything like that so somebody else will have to answer that.

uhh, maybe they will work? An electric motor is pretty much the same 370 or 540, bar size, and the ESC cannot differentiate between them. Even with brushless....

An ESC for a 540 sized motor is an excellent choice as there are no mini motors out there that will overheat a decent 1/10th size ESC. The only problem is fitting. Make sure to check the dimensions and be sure that you have space to install it. If you want reverse make sure you get a reversible ESC.
