So i was running my L4 today and i slid into a puddle by where i was running. Well i shut off the car anbd unpluged my Battery to try and save what i could. After everything was dry and what not i tried to run it again. My Servo is working fine for my steering but i cant throttle the car. I Rebuilt my motor and checked all my wires buti still cant figure out what is making it not "go".

Any help would be great.
Thanks.

Well, it's possible that your ESC could've been damaged, do you have a spare to try? If you don't, try removing it & opening its case, maybe spray a bit of motor cleaner on it(just a bit though, don't douse it) & give it an hour or so to fully dry, then reassemble it & try again. If it still doesn't work, then it may be dead(at least part of it). In cases like this, the best way to narrow it down is by having or borrowing components(like changing the ESC &/or receiver) so you can see which change fixed it....

LOL, he rebuilds his motor after it got wet (unless its brushless, in which case :/ ). Motors can be run underwater. When you go through water, what concerns you most is reciever and ESC. these are the least sealed (stock) of all your gear. Take them apart and dry them thoroughly with a hair dryer, then leave for overnight. Same with servo...

Thats all a bit OTT, but think about getting new gear and (hopefully) you'll take care...

Well i got the car to work. I just let it dry out some more.

For the motor rebuilding part,

I do know that it is DC power, thats a no brainer. But what i did find in there was alot of mud/water when i was rebuilding it. So i figured that could be preventing my armature from doing its thing.

But ya alls well now on my L4.
