does anyone think this will work.....im gonna take a hummer body and use it as a mold and make a fiber glass body 4 my revo....will it be too heavy or will it work

Fiberglass is nice, like on a heli canopy or something that doesn't make contact with the ground that often. If you ditch a heli, breaking a fiberglass canopy is really not the biggest of concerns:D

With that being said, unless it's a show only piece, the more you flip your revo, the worse that body is going to look. Not to mention the paint job is going to get scratched up to all hell and the fiberglass may crack or worse break.

One last thing to consider, it's going to need a 2 part automotive clear coat to hold up against any nitro fuel or exhaust that comes into contact with the body.

To answer your question, yes it can work. I'm with the other guys though, why? By the time you put in all the supplies needed and your time, you'll well exceed the cost of buying a new Lexan shell. It just isn't worth it.
