AM vs FM vs PCM

Whats all the different. Or should I say the main difference. I mean the PCM is extremely more money than a FM or a AM remote. I don't race but I wanted either the JR R-1 or the XR3. If I did get the R-1, My other question is why is PCM R-1 so much more than the FM R-1.Thaks.


P.S.I love the R-1 set-up features and the HUGE screen.

i have a JR R-1 and i love it. if you dont race their is no point spending all that cash
on something that you will never get the full use out of. if you want the R-1 get the R-1 but the XR-3 will do just fine if you have more then 3 cars get the R-1.with the R-1 if you get the PCM you get a built in fail safe so the is a good thing about the PCM R-1
AM sux fm is good for the cash but PCM is the best you can buy
