Original RC10 has 1/8th balls in the diff. If you don't want carbide balls, get some from a hardware store.

Don't use anything but carbide balls. $12 isn't bad concidering they last almost as long as the car. Regular steel balls get flat spots sitting in a diff under pressure and that means replacing the balls every few weeks.
