a while ago my dad and I were at the beach running my t3 rtr with the stock tires. my dad suggested we should get some paddles.so he bought me some proline paddles.the first time we were out he was driving a little close to the water for my taste.next thing I knew it was in like 2 inches of saltwater. I ran and got it out.We drove home and he washed it in the shower.we sprayed everything with wd-40.and took the electronics and cleaned them too.he was real nervous about it not working.but to his credit it worked fine!got any funnie stories of your own?post 'em!!

well i was runnin my T3 after a rain storm but the streets were dry. i raced my T3 down a straight and then boom out of nowhere there was torn up part of the road where it goes down 6 in'and to my surprise it was full of water and my T3 was in the middle of it all the elects were soaked but i knew they would still work because my esc reciever and servo are like indestructable! i dried em out anyway and i ran it again then i forgot where i was driving and i did it again but everything was okay.

i've got one similar to that. i was running my TC3 for a little test run out on my street and there was a puddle near the right. i was running with my body off just to try it out. this was a day before a race. i had these cones set up and was working through them going faster and faster. the 4th cone i set it pretty close to the water but i knew i wouldn't be driving that close. to the water. well i happened to traction roll on the 3rd cone and cartwheeled right into the water and i was upside down!!! i sprinted over and i grabbed it. the receiver had water droplets on it and same with everything else.... i gave it some gas and steering and nothing happened!!! i was really freaking out. then, to my luck i noticed th on-off switch got switched off! i switched it on and it responded just fine! i still took it apart and dried it up. this was probably more than freaky than funny to me.

Mason, I'm moving this not because it's a bad thread---it's a great idea!---but because I think you'll have more responses in the "General Discussion" Forum.
Moved to General Discussion.
