Nitro if you want a good motor for the money that is very inexpensive I would go with the associated super 370 I have had many motors in the M T Big blocks , Trinity, Reedy.Vemon, and in IMHO this is one of my favorites well besides my brushless setup. 16T pinion and it will get a rolling wheelie it will flip over from a dead stop I think they are like $12 from tower also. your best upgrade would probably be a battery right now also try to get a 1400mah or 1600 Thats what Im running and can get around 40 min with it. As far as $100 you cant beat it look on ebay I bought a friend one that came with a venom motor and a 6cell battery and free shipping for $99. Good luck

Heck with that, spend $140 dollars and get the 8000kv Mamba. You will smoke 1/8 scale nitros with a tiny azz truck and make those cats throw their trucks across the track!

as far as screws they are a little bigger than stock but you should be able to get them at your local hardware store they are metric 2 or 3 mm if I remember right. you may have to drill out the mounting holes on the motor plate just a bit not a big deal if you have any mechanical skills just go slow. and keep checking it with the motor holes better to keep trying than go to big. as far as smoking nitro cars on the track probably not gonna happen even with the brushless . They are so much smaller and that makes them hard to handle the bumps and jumps wtihout getting squirrely. dead stop on asphault will beat a nitro almost everytime if you can keep it straight>>
