Hi,
If youwant to go with three thousands you should buy a Novak Millenium or a Duratrax Intelli Peak. You haven't bought them yet have you? I would stay away from them personaly. Shure they have a longer runtime but for stock class racing or tight tracks
they are not as punchy in the tourqe area if you know what I mean But if your bent on buying the 3000's stick with the sanyo's.

Well, I've been using 3000's for the whole last off road season for my XX-4 and am happy with the results.. I use an old astroflight charger that charges at 5 amps with a linear charge. I just watch the temperature and cut off at 105-110 degrees. I use them in a race and then bring them down to 5.4 volts and let them sit and cool. Usually the packs get used 2 times per race day and sometimes 3 times. I have noticed that on the 2nd and 3rd charge there is a little more punch. I store my packs at 5.4 volts. The packs should be run at least 1 time a week for the 3000's.
I don't have any great chargers and other high end equipment except good electrics in my car and I can still run with anyone including the latest 2400's.
I still believe that it is important to charge and discharge the same way always as batterys like that kind of treatment.
Have fun! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif
RacerX-I haven't bought them yet because I waiting to see what people think about them!So far I have heard good and bad and I don't know what to believe now! I heard that these batteries are very sensitive and that if you don't charge or discharge them properly they turn to junk! And I've heard that these batteries are the best that people have ever bought! So I probably won't buy them until I find out the facts! What functions does the Novak Millenium have? Does it have charge and
discharge functions and a digital readout so that I can monitor what the battery is doing?
If you guys can tell me what the specs for how long it takes to charge these batteries
and the other inportant things It would be much appreciated because the closest LHS is
45 mins away! I've also heard that I should get 2400's! Thanks -Aaron

If you dont want to wait for AE's NIMH charger to come out get a Novak Millenium. Yes get a discharger, but be ready to babysit your batteries, cuz if you dont, you will overdischarge them and make them worthless. other than that, I say go for it!!
