First post!

Anyway, I've had this truck for a couple of months (bought it on ebay), got sick of motor maintenence and threw in a Novak 5.5 and GTB. This sucker was fast, but kept killing my NiMH batteries, apparently they couldn't handle the amp draw. Today I recieved my Orion 4800 Platinum LiPo, and this thing is even faster! So fast, in fact, that I killed my spur gear. I have a kevlar spur gear coming by the end of the week, hopefully. I don't have a local hobby shop, so everything is pretty much ebay for me. This thing is sickening fast though. It'd lift the front end off the ground with this battery, the immediate punch is incredible. So there's a quick FYI of what I'm running.

The parts I'm looking for, are some sort of wing mount to hook up a truggy style wing. I don't really like the look of the lexan piece taped to the back of the body. It seems I might have to make one myself.

I'm also looking for some sort of dust shield to keep crud out of the outdrive bearings on the transmission. They crud up pretty quickly. Any ideas?

Can anyone recommend a 2.2 tire that will have really long life? I'm using proline dirt-hawg II tires right now, and they're pretty decent. I do mostly pavement bashing, so a street tire would likely have better traction. How are the speed hawg tires, in regards to wear?

For a wing you could get some xxx-4 wing mounts then make a plate that attaches to the back of the shock tower that the wing mounts could mount to, then you would just need a wing and to cut the body. For dust sheilds you could get some of the soft foam that holds stuff in packages and cut it so it fits over the outdrive. I don't have any ideas for tires.
