Thats not really too good of a program. I don't think it would be worth putting up with a crap car for 50 bucks that you have to spend 100 to use.

Crap Car? Hardly
I will put my Matrix up against anything you want to roll out.

Have you owned a Matrix Pro? If not then thats a pretty harsh judgement!
If it's not for you then thats ok plenty of others are excited to be thought of by a company after the sale.

The matrix buggy is very far from a crap car.

CRAP ??!!?? I just built my Matrix Pro and it's far , far from crap. What do you base that comment on? And I think that is a pretty cool program. Another example that CEN is trying to do something different than other companies , take care of their customers! We'll see how "Crappy" their truggy is when it comes out. Ron

Its not about taking care of customers, Its about getting there car in the winners circle. The old addage win on sunday sell on monday is the basic theory behind this.I think its a great idea. It allows cen to give some level of sponsorship to a bunch of drivers, without the financial implications of the usual "at cost" sponsorship.

Exactly , "growth through customer service".

EXACTLY! except i am here for the customer... without them we don't exist and we understand that (many companys seem to have forgotten that in the rush to stuff money in their pockets).

I came up with this program to try and help out more of the "grass roots" type racer. Most can't travel around the country attending the BIG events and when they do they run up against the factory hired guns (ours included) they usually get smoked. Not alot of chance to show their stuff and get recognized.
I'd be lying if i said i'm not also after sales but i'm trying to build customer loyalty more than anything. We have good products and we are really here to help out. To that end i am trying to make it as easy as possible for lower budget racers to keep racing. a 50$ contingency on a 100% order is like a 50% sponsorship. I can't give out 50% sponsorships to everyone in the USA but i can offer this program. We help the local driver with the CEN Contingency Dollars and they help us with exposure and wins. Almost all full scale aftermarket suppliers do Contingency programs.

Lets see how long it lasts till others follow?!

the matrix is far from crap..and the new truggy looks pretty sweet as well.

but I think that is a bad promotion. You have to spend $50 to get $25 free. they should make it with no strings attached.

Sorry Regan I made it sound like you guys a cen dont care for the customers, wich was not my intention.I was getting at the fact that Cen wants their car in the winners circle to help lose that "cen is junk" mentality allot still seem to have.
I can see myself switching from kyosho to cen next year. Just as a question could the credit earned racing one car be used for deals on a kit, or is it a parts only thing? and is this available for us canuks(canadians)?

Regan , I really like what CEN has done lately with the addition of some great drivers and respected names like yourself. You can almost hear the momentum building! With a coulpe big wins and continued support from people like you , I know CEN will loose that bogus stigma. There will always be haters but those who have the balls to check out CEN for themselves will know the real deal. And it will spread like a plague. I am strongly considering send in my resume for a sales position here on the east coast. I have been doing sales for an industrial supply company for the past ten years and involved with R/C for the past 20. It seems like now is a good time to get on board with a company like CEN that's about to blow up. Ron
