i just bought this after lots of reading these forums. i just need some help with the upgrades. I read about replacing the shaft, but i dont know with what one. Any suggestions? Also what prop would work well. And what is the best way to break in the shockwave. Anything helps :D

Replace the flex cable with a Prather, Aeromarine or Hughey. You'll have to cut them to size as they do come a little on the long side, no big deal as a Dremel cut-off wheel will go right through it.
We did some testing on its sister boat, the Thunder Cat and found the Octura M-445 worked well with that engine. Just make sure that the prop is sharpened and balanced.
Use whatever fuel you plan on using, just run it richer for the first runs. No need for any break-in fuel.
