I was told that you could run 2 motors if it was half the limit on the esc. Not sure if that comming our right but. Say a ESC has a limit of 10T that you could get away with running 2 20t motors. Anyone ever hear of such a thing? I want to convert my epede to dual motors and have a rebel esc with a 10t limit I am thinking about trying to run 2 22t motors on it.

Actually, I think Tekin changed the motor limit to 12 turns on the Rebel (whereas it used to be no limit) And I remember reading the same, if you wire the motors in parallel, you halve the turns of the motor, in series, I believe it was the same as running one motor.

Novak's website is a big help on this topic. Check it out. novakracing.com, I think.

The rebels motor limit is 10T it used to be 12T and was never unlimited. However I do admite that the rebel is only an ok ESC.

I don't think thats write, unless your being very safe. You might want to look at speed comtrols that have a rating for duel motors. I know that my Teken 6-10G has a singal motor limit of 10T and a duel motor limit of 2 16T in parrallel. If you run two motors in searis you should be able to use as many turn as if you were running one motor, or maby a little less (not sure about that).

The statement is correct.

If you have motors in parallel they are drawing twice the current of one of the same motors.

So two 27 turn stockers in parallel would be like running an approx. 13.5 wind motor, and so on.

I ran my Rebel with dual Magnetic Mayhems at 22x1 and it never hurt it. :)
