HPI RS4 Rally or Associated TC3 w/ Rally Kit???

I'm sort of new to the R/C arena since I haven't been in the market for 6+ years. I've been looking into rally cars for both on/off road performance and looks. However I'm stuck between the RS4 Rally and the TC3 w/ the rally kit. The RS4 Rally or TC3 runs $150 however the rally upgrade kit for the TC3 cost another $70 so the prices would be either $150 or $220.
The RS4 uses a belt driven 4WD system while the TC3 uses a shaft driven 4WD system. I heard the belt is quieter however has more maintenance issues. Which has more parts available for later upgrades? Which can take more of a beating? Which is better?

okay 1st of all i dont really like the TC3 w/ conversion becuz its alittle to much $. And i dont really want the hpi because its basically a shorter version of the RS4 mt and i have it so i didnt want that and every1 has it so i went for the.........................

I think it is a great car and i just needed some convincing now im gonna get hella hop-upps and stuff for the same price as the TC3 u get more for less $!!! I think its a great deal now all i got to do is find a site where they sell it cheap and get somemore tips and info on it!!! :D
