Hey Jeep questions about the 2 speed in your drag car

Jeep when you put the 2 speed in you double x drag car did you use the double x tranny? does the two speed come in 48 pitch? will i been fine with 32 if it doesnt i have a hydra drive do i need a differnt slipper and lastly is it race legal

I used the Losi xx tranny. The 2-speed comes with a different top shaft so you can fir the double spur gear, shifter assembly on it.
There is no slipper action at all, and no, no hydra drive either.
It cannot be race legal because there are no dust covers that would fit.
Besides, I have taken it out on the dirt and it is HEINOUS. It shifts right when you don't want it to (in the air). There is no slipper. It is heavy as heck and your car will be ultra squirely with that thing on there.
And they are out of stock, probably forever as the XX is no longer in production. You can still get the Associated version (and probably just the Losi top shaft to convert it) at http://www.hpiracing.com
