I bought a vented clutch bell for my force .28 and the new bell sticks out past the end of the shaft about 1mm. Is it safe to put the shaft extension I circled on the end of shaft to extended it? It seems like the bearing is going to catch on the seem where the extension meets the pilot shaft. what do I do?

Get part number 10410 (its a better more complete kit than the 10099, the piece circled is too long and requires alot of shims to use, and then sometimes it'll hit the fuel tank if it sticks out too far), its a shim kit that will include an end piece with an extension built into it, or you can use some 3x5 shims (several companies package them, Ofna, Kyosho, etc..) to take up the extra space.
Good Luck, hope this helps...

thanks-I don't see an end piece with an extension built into it though....
