Looks pretty cool, looks like r/c bikes are on the rise. I would only buy a motocross bike, though. Jumping it would be awesome! Too bad any companies haven't made one yet. I know there is that Radio Shack one, but they never have it in stock at my RS.

thats because its been discontinued. And I will say once you upgrade it(revo rer shock, chain conversion and brushless) its a total blast and can rip around any offroad track.

For electric modified, it says any 540 motor. Does this mean the 380C motors are not allowed?

If one were to put a gyro on a bike, do you think you could get it to power oversteer out of corners? That would be sick....
Akura2

it wold be if it could work... the bikes work more with leaning force versus a yawing force and since Gyros work more for yaw It wouldn't work so well... but hey... if you could come up with a way to do it... git 'er done

You can power oversteer the bikes out of corners already
Mine is the red one with yellow rider on the far left pic :)
You can do just about anything you can do with a car + more. Even if you don't have a bike you should go if you can and soak up the atmosphere.

Wow... I watched those vids and the bikes are way more stable than I thought. They pull some sick lean angles too! Too cool guys, I might have to try one out.

I think rc bike racing is defintely one class where the electric bikes really smoke the nitro bikes on lap times.
Not sure about stock, but certainly the modified electric bikes set the top times.

I bet they do. Whenever I watch electric vs nitro, it seems the electrics are much smoother on the power delivery. From 1:1 bikes, I know the importance of being smooth with the throttle. Wouldn't surprise me at all of electric bikes held corners better.

electric bikes have more snap out of the turns because of the instant power delivery that you get from electric motors... but the nitro bike are actually a little smoother... due to the fact that they aren't as violent out of the corners
they're both a LOT of fun...

Here's who we have confirmed for the celebrity race: Joel Johnson (Kyosho), Steve Pond (Kyosho), Gil Losi, Jr. (Team Losi), Craig Kaplan (XTM Racing), Tony Phalen (Team Associated), Joey Christenson (The Dirt), and Bob Sarnelle (VS Modelsport). We'll be raffling off three of the bikes used in the celebrity race (ready-to-run), as well as Airtronics computer radios. All proceeds from the race and the raffles will be going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help their community programs.
September 3 is coming up soon!
