Traxxas TQ/2 controller *sigh*

This cheap thing is causing my car to have the jitters. i tried with a friend's TQ controller and it works fine. After disassembly, resoldered some of the joints. Apparently no-one in QA @ Traxxas can recognize a cold solder joint. But I seem to have a few capacitors blown on the board. Anyone have any idea if the controller board is available from Traxxas? Or if there are schematics available so that i can try to repair this myself? Thanx for any info!! :confused: :mad: :cool:

dont do that just send it to traxxas and im sure they will send u a replacment for free( if its still under warranty) if its not i think you have to send them 15 dollars and the controller.dont worry they will work sumthin out with u they are known for thier GREAT customer service.

Traxxas has great customer support and they have a toll free number. 1-888-TRAXXAS or 1-888-872-9927. I've called them a couple times but have emailed (support@traxxas.com) them more times then I care to count. Every time I have gotten a quick and correct answer.
