I bought a radio shack samurai racer. I charged the battery and let it go. Car went 17.5mph. which I think is pretty fast for 150 bucks(Now it is dicounted to 80 bucks so I took it back and bought it again for the cheaper price.) but any way is it possible to put a larger motor in it or do you guys think it will blow out the current "speed control. now it has a stock (came in the car) RS-540 motor in it.

i pretty well dought that you could change motors or speedos in a radio hut car. For $150 you should have bought a tc3 and got some electronics

I took my Radioshack Vexxor(they change names and body styles every year). Anyways, I put a P2K and SpeedGems 12-turn in it. Neither one had any effect on electronics. You might want to remove the covers over the electronics. It helps. Another thing, Replace those battery connectors, they seem to melt themselves together. After I was done, The Radioshack would outrun my Stampede w/ a Traxxas 20-turn. Have fun.
