Thanks!!

I have the DuraTrax IntelliPeak Digital, it works fine but the one annoying problem it has is the LCD can't display a number larger than 1999 . That means when you charge 3000 cells the reading will go from 0 to 1999, then back to 0, then to 1000 (really 3000).
Because of this problem, I would probably never buy another one.

You know i love my oranges! I would pick the Novak, just because I know they make great products, well, that is my reason.

I thought I read somewhere that DuraTrax was going to fix that lcd glitch. I have the non lcd deluxe. My only complaint is that it false peaks on every pack, so I have to hit the pulse cgarge button a second time after it goes to slow charge. Not a big issue, but it is slightly annoying.

My a/c power supply crapped out after 2 months. I knew it was coming, as the fan was making a horrible noise for a week prior to that. It is warrantied for a year, so I sent it back for replacement.

I think it is DC, but not positive considering I never really looked at it good. BUT, I can say, dont charge NiMh batteries with the DuraTrax. It hurts the batteries because it "pulse" charges them, and NiMh are better with a linear charge. The only reason it can take 3000's is because it has a thingie to detect when the battery peaks. But pulse charging isnt recommended for NiMh batts. The Novak Ionic was designed for both NiMh (linear) and NiCd (pulse) charging, and is definately a better charger, just a little costlier.

Im getting the Ionic. After all the complants. I was looking at the specs for it and it says niMh2. Whats that? The stock melals? Is the Ionic out yet?

P.S. Im very happy with my C2, Dually, Fusion, and duster, so I trust Novak will make a good charger. I would have a mellenuim but its 145 + 130 for the power suply.

I have an Intellipeak deluxe and it does great. But you're right, Novak does make great stuff. I own a couple of ESC's from them.

I'm not sure, rcracer_xxxt_futaba, but it might refer to the Ionic being able to charge both the NiMh cells we race, & the AA NiMh's that we can use in the transmitter. That's what the NiMh mode on the Millenium is for(transmitter batteries), so it may be similar on the Ionic... :)

Does anyone have a ionic yet? It's much simpler than a Millinium, but as long as it does some intelligent charging, the simpler the better as far as I'm concerned.

No, the Ionic isn't out yet, though it should be pretty soon....

I would think Duratrax is fixing the LCD problem right now, because most of the chargers are back ordered (the Digital has been backordered at Tower for a month now, and won't be coming in until the middle of June at the earliest).

Im not getting the Ionic. I getting the Stigma. Mosly cause of all the things it can do. I have one question that Stormers web site didnt state: How low of a voltage can I charge? I want really low (3.0) for my racing and 5.0 for my practice batteries.

THANKS
