Does anyone know if there are any set requaltions on modifiying and 1/8 scale on-road body to compensate for lift.
I modified a couple of my bodies, due to the fact that they get air under the front dam, and the car will "take off".
Nothing had been added to the body, but I have modified it somewhat.
I was at the track yesterday, and a couple of the drivers cars really took off.
Even with setting the body as low as possible, the 1/8 scale sometimes will pick-up air, and they will lift in the front, or flip over.
About 6 months ago, one of the drivers car got so much air on the back stretch, the the car flew over a 6' high block wall at the end of the back straight, landing in the parking lot next door.
I was hoping someone might know the answer to this, without me tracking down any rule that may apply.
I heard the Mugen is coming out very soon with a new body that has adjustable front air dams to help with this, but they are not in the shops yet.

thanks for any input
