I have Cobalt 9 turn double motor in a T1 EVO2 with a LRP Sphere ESC.
What gearing do you guys recommend for a wide open parking lot application.
Just got the motor and don't want to blow it up on the first run or the ESC for that matter. I here that a 72 spur and a 19 pinion works but that may not be true. Also what type of batteries would you guys use for this application. Any information is greatly appreciated; me and my brother have these cars (he has my old PRO 3 with the Penguin upper deck and 10 turn motor) and we're ready to have some fun with them this summer. I've spent close to $500.00 just getting everything ready (bodies, tires, new radio, esc, motors, spray paint, light accessories). I know the run time will be short with these motors. :cool:
