I'm trying to find a fairly cheap peak charger but I'm not sure what to get. I'm thinking about getting a Duratrax intellipeak mini or the dynamite vision charger, which one do you think would be better or should I go with something completely different. I would like to save money here and spend it else where on my truck.

how about a super brain for 39.99 from tower, no cool down time required, a friend has one and loves it

How about Novak's Rhino ?

I think it's a pretty good charger, as a matter of fact I am going to get one shortly.

Either the Duratrax or the Dynamite will work just fine. I use a Duratrax pirahna peak charger, and have charged everything from sport 1700 packs to matched 2400. It sees a lot of use, and I have never had any problems. As for the Dynamite vision, a-lot of guys at my local track use those, and I have not heard any complaints. While these chargers don't have all the bells and whistles of more expensive chargers, they will do the job.

Just make sure you get a discharger (I use a light bulb discharger) to keep your batteries in top condition.

Your very best bet is to go to eBay and do a search for "Novak Charger". You will find several chargers that sell, on the average, for 1/2 of the street price. Here is a Millennium you can get for $85.00 right now.

the milllenuim is sooo much better, the duratrax paranah charger always false peaks, and really cant charge anything well over 2400mah, and really even cant charge those packs well. i had a 819, and it did the same thing (but didnt get to 200 degrees in 5 minutes like the paranah did)

but i love my millenuim pair, i have yet to have a problem, and they are just great,

but i hear the duratrax intilipeaks are okay, however i would get the duluxe, for you need more then 3amps charging nimh;s.

indi 16x2 is nice because it has a peak charging mode, discharge mode, a "fuzzy logic" (dunno what it does......) mode, and a battery conditioniing mode.
