Hi, I have the Jr radio that is included with the XXXT rtr, and I cant get another reciever for it. They have recivers for it, but it is 75MHz not 27MHz. My radio needs 27MHz, but the recivers on Horizon Hobby do not indicate if they are 27MHz or 75MHz. Its a stupid problem and ive been to the hobby shop and Ive bought 2 receivers and taken one back because they are both the wrong frequency. Its stupid because it doesnt tell if its 75MHz or 27MHz. Are there any receivers that can work with my AM 27MHz JR radio?

Well, any AM 27MHz reciever should work. I've had great success with futaba's AM recievers.

Actually, it's more complicated than that, NOT all receivers will work with all transmitters, same frequency or not. But there are companies that offer receiveres that can be compatible, like Novak's XXL for example. It can be had in versions that'll suit whichever brand of radio or frequency band you use, I'd check those out first & foremost(I've used a XXL before, & it worked just fine until I switched over to the Spektrum system)....

When you order from Horizon ;put a 27 after the part number and that should do it.

Are you sure the Futaba reciver will work? I like the Novak XXL but, they dont have an AM 27 MHz one.

They who? you mean Tower? If they don't, then try another online store(Novak even has their own on their site). Try looking for part number 2527(that's Novak's part number for the 27MHz XXL, I looked it up)...

Yeah, I already looked that part number up on Tower Hobbies, and they didnt have it. I also looked at Hobby People and Horizon Hobby and they also didnt have it. Do you know of any online shops that have it in stock? It has so far been hard to find.

I didn't realize so many had stopped stocking it(just checked a few sites myself), but Novak still has some to sell themselves. Just go to www.teamnovak.com & click on the "Buy Novak" sign on the main page, it'll open up their online shop, & they DO have some Am 27MHz XXL's in stock....
