These are pics of my Tamiya off-road 4WD buggy ( it's a pretty old model ) but also one of the finest buggies Tamiya ever produced.

Retro. those front shocks look like they have almost no travel.

That Top Force is just plain cool, Dai! Did you find it on ebay, or have you just had it in storage somewhere? Nice paint, too. I've got an Astute, Nissan King Cab, Mad Cap, Saint Dragon and Lunchbox.

The car used to be sold on the shelves of our Tamiya retailer here, but it went out of stock and out of production, but there were many hop ups and a body for it, so I got a Dirt Thrasher and basically spent ALOT of money to convert it into the TOP-FORCE Evolution ( basically it is the same design gear box wise ), it has full bearings, ball differential, shaft 4WD transmission, carbon graphite chasis and shock mounts.

Awsome work Dia,
I always thought Tamiya buggies were eye-candy. Your TOP-FORCE reminds me of the Tamiya Big-Wig which was the first RC buggy that I admired (looks wise).

Dia, what can say, "it's true, it's true". That is an awesome looking buggy. Maybe someday I'll be able to accomplish a paint job like that. If it runs as good as it looks, no wonder you love it. And say what!? It's a Tamiya http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/eek.gif

Dai,
Do you run it or is it just a show piece?

Thanks for your comments guys.
Zenlosi: Of course I run it, it is not for show, but I try to take care of it as much as I can and I clean it up after each run..this is the only way to make sure your RC car lives longer....and since I got this buggy I was never in a real race with real prizes, and I only raced it once against a Losi XX4 and a HPI RS4, I lost miserably due to my bad driving, mainly because I haven't drove my buggy around the old track for five years, it wasn't my lucky day, but the guys who I raced with were hanging out there everyday, and we weren't even using a bench to see the cars in the track ( it's the same place the photos were taken at ) I'm sure I will do well in the future because it is all coming back to me now.

By the way, there was an off-road race held by Tamiya last thursday here in my country, for under 15 year olds, it's a small race, only 10 kids participated including my cousin, the reciever on his Terra Conqueror was malfunctioning so I allowed him to use my buggy for the race...it was a pretty small track but it did need good and calm driving to win, my cousin and my TOP-FORCE got 1st place.

I've been in and out of R/C since 86 and don't remember the Top Force. I do remember the Big Wig though.

Nice! I'd still go easy on it though, I'm sure parts are hard to come by... Personally, I'm currently in the market for a near-new Avante... a few come and go on ebay from time to time. I wanted one of those 10 years ago, and now I'm gonna get one! =)

Can we see some pics of the insides?

Sure, I'll post a pic or two of the inside of my Buggy later.
By the way I think most of you guys have never seen this is because that particular buggy never made it to the U.S.A it was arguably the most expensive electric buggy from Tamiya.
