I was just wondering what the negative effects and troubles of creating a ten cell battery pack would be.
Why, I am sure you are asking. The Tekin 420 can handle dual mod motors and up to 20 cells. The E-Maxx would be more fun with longer runtimes, and who really cares about weight that much.
So could it work? If so, what about charging such packs?

You wear out the motors faster, and that makes pretty much everything else wear out faster. Just find a charger with those specs, that is about it.

I'm not totally sure this would work but I don't see why you couldn't run two 6 cell packs in parallel. Simply build a y connector that joins both positive terminals together and both negatives. This would give you twice the battery capacity with no increase in overall voltage. This should give twice the run time. But beware, I would recommend using two batteries with the same capacity and make sure they are both equally charged. If you don't you will run the risk of reverse charging the weaker of the two batteries and ruining it. A possible way around this danger would be to wire a diode (one with really high current capacity) into each positive lead of the y-connector this would eliminate the possibility of reverse current. And I thought the RC trucks were heavy enough already http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif
