Which one would be better or should I wait for this new brushless motor coming out summer by Novak?

I'm missing something. What does getting a brushless motor have to do with which ESC is better? Anyway for my money I'd go with the LRP F1 PRO Reverse. As a matter of fact I just got mine today from Tower Hobbies. I've got it mated with the Reedy Pulse-R 13T in a TA04. The setup should scream, I'll see tomorrow.

I say the LRP F-1 Pro also.
Lighter weight, MUCH smaller size, less money, and better performance. It runs at double the frequency of the SR which gives smoother throttle, and longer run times with less heat.
The SR has a slightly lower on resistance but that's all it has going for it. And if you can notice the difference you are lying to yourself.
They each have ZERO motor limits, and both can run dual modifieds in parallel of the same amount. Neither has the advantage in motor capacity.
The LRP also has intelligent braking which gives you reverse as soon as the motor stops. :)
I think the SR only has that annoying delay, but I'm not sure. If it does it means stripped gears if you brake for too long, as it will slam into reverse immediately after the set time is up on braking.
That is according to the reviews and the manufacturers input I should say.
But who believes that stuff anyway.

Rooster has smart braking, it does not go into reverse until the motor has stopped also.

My mistake on the whole Super Rooster and the Rooster thing.
If he's comparing just the original Rooster then by all meand go to the LRP.
There is NO comparison between the two.
Oh and thanks for being a S>A> about it Nervous.

As I understand it, the brushless motors will need a special esc to run them. If a person were going to get the brushless motors, they may want to hold off on getting a new conventional esc. Also, it seems like the LRP is much better than the standard Rooster.
