exaust???

I have a miss bud, and it seems that alot of gas (vapor) is coming out of the exaust pipe. i dont know if i am running it to rich because it sounds alright, but i dont have anything to compare it to because my gas car is over 15 years old, and it runs alittle different then the new engines. The boat has a dynamite .15 engine that has already been broken in. i was just wondering if changing the mixture would increase speed. And if this helps, the engine seems to bog down from idle when i gas it. If i am running it to rich, what needle setting should i have?

If you're getting just a little bog when hitting the throttle on the water, lean it out just a little. If it's doing it on the shore, you should be right in the ballpark.
We do run slightly richer than cars and trucks do, the prop load leans the engines out.
