Has anyone tried to convert any of the 1/350 scale battleships into rc, such as the Tamiya 1/350 US Battleship BB-63 Missouri. I looked at the thread on the Enterprise but these hulls are smaller even though the servo motor idea should work in this case as well, any sugestions would be helpfull.

This is my Missouri: http://www.modelshipgallery.com/gallery/bb/bb-63/350-co/co-index.html
It runs very well on clean water but any little root or weed tends to disable a shaft. My recommendation would be if you want a manageably sized rc warship go with a 96th Fletcher class destroyer from Scale Shipyard or Loyalhanna dockyard. Both those guys are great people with a ton of experience and are willing to help out.

That's the Loyalhanna page, lots of stuff to check out.
