rx7 is my favourite sort of drifter car but theres loads more that i like aswell. You could go with a carbon fibre look on the hood nice pearl blue, red, green or whatever u like color on the body with some stylish graphics? I also like the s-15, skyline, WRX and the EVO but theres loads more to choose from. Actually HPI has a drifting body same as the Toyota trueno body it is in 190 MM and looks pretty sweet
:) Im thinking between the rx-7, s-15, and the wrx....i really like the wrx but i dont know how to do it up drift fashion...and then again i already have a four door body...so i might go for a yokomo s-15? :)

Why do people always stick to the Japanese cars? Okay, so that's where drifiting took off, and thats what most 1:1 drift cars are. But still, why not do something more original - like a HPI Ford Mustang, or even TVR Tuscan? Now they would look cool...

I think the Mustang would look better as a drifter. But, if you're stuck on imports, the RX-7 looks great!
To create a pearl color, it's not that tough. Buy the pearl color you want and spray. If you're trying to create a pearlized color (only because you can't find it in a can), do a thin coat or two of your primary color. Next, mist a single coat of silver (just a very very thin mist). Next, mist a very very light coat of white. Toss on a couple of more coats of your primary color, back it, and enjoy. BTW, when I mean a very very thin mist, I mean so thin you can barely see it.
alright how bout a nsx...if i do a tvr how would i do it up drift style

IMO the NSX may be stylish, but it doesn't make a good driftcar...

I just love the silvia s-15 headlights :D
I might try and do s-15 headlights on a hpi honda prelude if i can figure out how to fit a 200 mm body to 190 mm chassis
Damn 2 many choices

wow so many different bodies...this shows i could drift in anything...wow...im speechless...after seeing that i think im gonna just do a gold honda prelude with s-15 headlight buckets and r34 tailight buckets in the back :) with plenty of detail
hpi says to fit a 200mm body i need to buy rims with a 6mm offset like these...
http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/TrackSstarBoi/3847_01x.jpg
do these yokomo wheels have 6mm offset
http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/TrackSstarBoi/ZR-DR18G.jpg
cuz i really like these and they would go perfect with my gold honda prelude project...and what would u recommend to do to get http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/TrackSstarBoi/prelude9m.jpg these wing posts off of the prelude and mount a yokomo drift wing...also how do i create a yellowish gold color since pactra doesnt make it in a spray can :) (thanks everybody for the help you gave me to make my decision) :)

to get a goldish color you could try mixing pearl white and yellow. or an easier way is to go the to local paint shop or maybe you LHS might have these also but it isa spray can with a mixing bottle attached to the bottom of it. you can mix you paint it the bottle and then spray like a regular paint can. I use one for some of my backing colors.
where do i get this thing to make bottle paint be used like spray paint? :D also pitstops what would u pick as a body rx-7, prelude, silvia, or rx-8 that would look nice :D i still cant choose....and plus my current prelude project has been critizied negatively
