Whats the majority of people running here the 26 or 24 and whats the diff in performance? Just curious.

Well, to be honest, just about all of us(assuming you're talking about rubber tires, not foam ones) use 24mm tires, because all the newest compounds are in that size alone. Now several years ago, 26mm was the standard(back when the Tamiya TA02 was considered state-of-the-art, lol, but also for a couple of years beyond that) but we then began to discover that with newer compounds, we could get every bit as much grip, & because the wheel, insert & tire weighs noticably less when it's 24mm instead of 26, you save a lot of rotating mass, which allows the car to accelerate better & can roll through corners a bit easier. And since then, we all switched over & haven't looked back(though we also tried 22mm ones for a bit, but they sacrificed a bit too much)..... :cool:

I'm glad he asked that question because I was wondering the same. I just got a TC3 a few days ago and was curious. I thought 26mm was for nitro and 24mm was for electric but now I know. Thank you. lol

I run 24mm...much better than 26mm for racing.
