The second R/C boat related death has occured on Memorial Day this year, see the story here: http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/email/news/breaking_news/14695770.htm
The first one was in Puerto Rico when a boy was struck in the chest with a 36" long boat being impaled in his chest while a boater was running in a river near swimmers.
The first story is misleading as it did happen at a NAMBA approved race site but it was not a race yet some boaters using the site to run their boats.
Having 2 incidents already this year due to careless boating is giving us a black eye. Think when running yours and wear a PFD while retrieving your dead boat.
