How do i make my xxx-t faster fast enough to race in the A-Main of a nationals or something?

You know why those guys at the nationals are so fast?

PRACTICE.

Nothing makes you faster. Nothing.

But to match the straight line speed take alook at the articles in RCCA. For every race they tell what truck, batts, ESC, radio, motor, gears, tires, etc. the pros used. Copy that set up and your truck will be just as fast as the pros. But then speed and power are nothing without the proper control to use them correctly.

Again just PRACTICE more than you think you should. When you get done with a day and think you've had tons of practice, that's when you recharge your packs and hit the track for 50 more laps. You get the idea don't you? PRACTICE.

and as it said on the dash of the passanger side of the class winning white lighting porsche of the rolex 24 at dayotona, DONT HIT S---! which is very helpful advice, but its easier said than done.

if you are racing at club level, you will find, that passing and dueling will only get you further back, instead, hold pack, and either wait for the person to crash (most do under pressure) or take a very different line, the key is not to get tangled up, because it will just make you further behind the next guy.

but remember, slower can be faster.
