I have the Kyosho Lamborghini C-1 with a .21 engine. How much nitro do you recommend for this engine. I´ve been running it with 25%. Is it too high?

if it's stock motor, then that's fine. I'll tell you that I use 20% nitro. the only thing is......more nitro means less engine life. other guys on here may tell you the same thing, but I'd recommend 20% for any stock motor. hope that helps

i was always a fan of 30% nitro. it's a good mixture. going over 30 is when you start to cross into racing fuels. some engines don't wake up until you have 30-35% nitro (some even like 60%...but that's outta my league). what brand engine is in your hull? knowing what engine it is may help in selecting the best fuel. more important than nitro content is oil content. 18-20% oil is best for boats. unlike car guys, we truly torture these engines, and the extra oil is needed. some car fuels only have 8% oil. you will destroy a marine engine pretty quick on that stuff. if low oil fuel is all you can get, you should get some oil additive from Byron. you can then add that to your fuel jug to increase your oil content and give youe engine a chance to live a long healthy life.

The engine is the stock one for the boat. I think the engine is made by kyosho.

25-30% is just fine for that boat. Just make sure you have enough oil content as BD mentioned.

I got some oil from my LHS. Got to try it this weekend.
