Hi. I just bought a factory team TC3 and tried assembling it. My problem is that an aluminum screw broke while tightening it and left a portion in the screw hole. Does anyone knows how to deal with this problem? Thanks.

If enough of the screw is still there, or you can remove the part the screw is stuck in, use a dremel or saw blade to cut a slot in the remaining portion and use a screwdriver to remove it. Turn slowly, the aluminum is soft.

The other option is a small set of vice-grip pliers, if enough of the screw is left to bite into.

If any more work than this is required, it might be beneficial to get a new part.

It's only the head of the screw that came off, the rest is stuck in the diff case.

Drill a SMALL hole and get a reverse direction bit at a hardwear store. It's kind of a specialty item. what it does is when your drill bit turns counterclockwise into the hole and reaches the end of the hole, it will grip the screw and back it out. If you have any questions, ask someone at the store.

You could try drilling it out.
