D Cells in E-Maxx

is it possible to put D cell size batteries in the e maxx i was told that it would be to much mah. i know i would have to mod the chassis or reconfigure the cells, i just wanted to know if it is possible.

D??? wow thats alittle big, You would deffently have to make a mod chassis, and it would weigh down the maxx . i have a e maxx and i think its heavey enuff already hehe
