MVP problems

I just cleaned my MVP motor and it cuts on and off , its not my explorer2 esc because my 16x3 motor works. Any ideas please help?

How does your comm look? I have an old P2K that needs cutting badly, it sputters when driven. If your comm is ok then take out the brushes and make sure they are not binding or there is not something stuck under them.

Sounds like a hung brush. Remove brush springs and see if brush moves in and out of brush hood freely.
