Smoking Batteries

I have Sanyo 2400's they were purchased pre-assembled. I was running my B3 not for 1 min then all energy was lost and somke was comming from my battery. It melted all the plastic wraping off and even my battery brace. All connections were good and the pack has only been used 5X's. Anybody know?

you plugs might be touching each other, which would burn out the battery if touched long enough.

I would think the same but it was the end of the pack that has no wires. My plus are Deans ultra plugs and I do good elec. work. I guess in this case it does not show. I am glad my ESC was OK.
