I bought an old rc10 on ebay yesterday that has a Futaba MC 210 CB esc with it. He claimes it works. The pdf manual I looked at said it was good for 30 amps. Not sure what that equates to in turns. Anyone have an idea what this thing will take without burning down? It's just going to be a playaround car for my nephew so it won't have to take much more than a 27 turn stocker.

It can handle 18 turns and above, so a 19t spec motor would be the fastest motor you could really put in it.
http://www.futaba-rc.com/radioaccys/old-speed-controls.html scroll down and youll see the ESC on the left w/ specs.

Well, this is the buggy I bought on ebay. It turned into a truck. :) Had to buy the front bulkhead. Everything else I had already. Nothing special but it'll be fun for him to play around with. Still has the old 6 gear tranny. Need to find a stealth for it. O well, it'll come along eventually.
