When I bought my 1/12th scale (it was a couple of years ago) it came with a servo, esc, and motor. Sense I only ever ran it a couple of times and with the one motor I never really wondered what the esc was. I knew it was a GM (most of the label has been peeled off) but nothing else. Today I found it on horizon hobby and it said it was discontinued but the price of it when it was new was $195 so at that price I thought it had to be a really good esc. I also think it's the world champion edition but not sure. What does the little dial on it do? I can see the numbers 30, 70, and 110 but I don't know what they do. I would like to keep it though if it's worth anything because I will need another esc for my FT B4 when it gets in. I did have a Sphere Comp in my old B4 but I had to put it in a different car. Also what removes shoe goo?

The 1/12th scale is a CRC Team Red T-Force that I will be putting up for sale on ebay (well getting a friend to do it for me) in a week or two. It is like new (only got ran on an indoor carpet a couple of times) except that it needs a t-bar and a shock rebuild kit. Sense they sell for $220 on horizon hobby what do you think a lightly used one with a JR standard race servo is worth (and maybe an extra set of tires, I'm debating on wether to sell them seperatly or not)? Oh and it also has the Super Stiff Chassis which is $40.

Yes, it is still an excellent ESC -- I still use them in my XRAYs. The dial you mentioned is the current limiter setting. There are many more settings in programming; go to Graupner's home page to find the instructions. I would keep it to use with the B4.

Oh, and you should just be able to peel or rub off the Shoe Goo.

You might not get near what the value or retail price was for the CRC car, newer versions has since been introduced - but you can always try to get the most you can.
The GM escs were some of the first small esc available I had two V12s, some guys had problems with them in oval racing - I was lucky but moved to the Quantums as repair service got iffy. You might be able to find the manual still available online - I've tried doing a search for GM Racing (German Co.) but all I got was GM Motors, the site was up some time ago. Competition X website has a bunch of PDF files but I don't remember seeing any of the GM esc manuals (www.competitionx.com).

Sorry, I should have pointed you to GM Racing's German site. Here's a link directly to the instructions ---> http://www.gm-racing.de/rwdownload/index.php?url=&dlid=20
