pan car questions

Ok. I have a Bolink 1/12 scale pan car. I have 1/10 scale tires on it. It handles horrible and its not the best off the line. I run a standerd ex spec motor and a 20 tooth pinion and a 78 tooth spur, both are 48 pitch.How can I make it handle better? The front wheels are fairly close in comparison to 1/10. Also how do I get better off the line? The car is fairly slow i think i comparison to ther pan cars so help me out and also so they allow remote control cars on planes i am going on vacation and want to bring it :confused: :confused: :confused:

Maybe your diff. 1/12 tires are smaller so you might wanna gear 1 tooth down because of the extra rottation mass.
