Stick pack conversion to side by side question?

If i take my stick pack apart and put the cells side by side like the pros do and solder them with battery bars wiil it work?

Yes, but be sure that each individual cell is shrink wrapped. Also, pre-made stick packs usually have welded connections, so you may have to pry these off the cells.

It's also a good idea to Shoe-Goo the cells together so as to relieve the stress on the battery bars. You don't want a solder joint to break in the middle of a race...
