Well i may have a new project truck that will be a basher and i will most likely keep away from brushless or at least for now  seeing as i already have 3 bl projects but anyway i was thinking of getting an esc capable of 14 cells and running a 550 or bigger sized motor in a rustler tranny......what do you guys think would give the best torque, speed on 14 cells....i have titans already actually but i want something better

MagMayhems are good 22t single. There are a few older 550,s out there that are also good.Plus if you lke the simi make your own mills the Trinity Monster Maxx cans and end bells are really good just the armatures are junk.

I also heard about the mag mayhems being good on higher cell counts. If you want bigger motors though, you may want to check out the motors that are used in the kershaw designs kits. They have 775, 820 and 970 size motors. I believe they are just cordless drill motors. I don't know if their bolting patterns are the same as the 550's though.

if you get anything bigger then a 550 it wont fit in your rusty. 550's are the same diamter as 540's but they are just longer I'm pretty sure all motors bigger then a 550 are bigger diameter wise and not length.
